Jhee-Rona!

Okay so...sorry for the delay on the posting...I've been swamped and sick etc. etc. A few weekends ago, approximately 3 weekends ago, Miss Fernandez (Linda) and I took a train out of the city and went to a town called Girona. (Jhee-Rona for those Catalan lovers). It was a day of random exploring with no real direction. I knew that I wanted to see the Arab baths, and the Jewish Quarter that were the highlights of the old city but yeah...not much luck in that dept. Miss Fernie and I had a good day anyway though.

I bought a pair of really cool earrings made of newspaper, a hair holder thing that this lady almost gave me a splinter with trying to sell it to me, and I enjoyed the graffiti on the walls. There is tagging, and there is art...these artists were talented, even if they were creating walls about grillz, and Chucks...

Here is a piece of one larger wall that was pretty amazing...

This is currently my screensaver. I liked the colors and the work...

Really pretty castle on the other side of this cathedral that they were trying to charge us to go into.
Here is the town of Girona from the top of a cathedral in the middle of town...

This lady looked pissed off, and that I couldn't find the Arab baths or the Jewish Quarter pissed me off too so I yelled with her.

This is my best statue imitation...pretty good no?

We got so lost walking around in Girona as I searched high and low for the Arab Baths and the Jewish Quarter that I stopped caring about what buildings were but, I'm sure this was important as well...pretty right?

This is the sad face because Linda decided to be adventurous and order pizza with an egg in it...I don't think by the look on her face that she thought it would REALLY have an egg in the middle though. (My food was delicious though, and egg free)

This is yet another busted attempt at me trying to be athletic. (I don't know why I keep trying). I saw some kids sitting up on these weird steps in this plaza and decided to climb up there...very unsuccessful. Linda triumphed and I failed miserably!

How did she start off this way and STILL managed to make it up there and I didn't!!!?
Linda's Triumph

This is Linda's happy dance! She's so emotional because she loves Jaume I so much!

This is my shout out to Kevin T.M. Stein. I saw this sign while I was walking around the streets of Girona and felt compelled to take this for Kevy kev. :)

The egg on the pizza looks tasty to me. Esp. if the yolk wasn't cooked through. Mmmm. Egg.
