Okay so there won't be much information about this activity just a lot of pictures. Basically, I took the Business students on a trip to two monasteries in the cities of Santes Creus + Poblet. These monasteries are about 2 hours outside of Barcelona. The country side is really beautiful. The monastery experience was less than exciting but it was nice to see different scenery and enjoy the almost fall like weather.
The first monastery we visited in Santes Creus was no longer used. It hadn't been a functioning monastery for years. The second one, in the town of Poblet was still a monastery so we were required to be quiet and were not allowed to go into certain places because they were still being actively used by the monks.
The little black things in the picture are birds that were flying off the church clock tower when we took pictures. It was really pretty. 
There were a whole bunch of trees that looked like giant bonsai trees. Not sure why they were pruned this way but I thought it looked cool...
This is inside the courtyard of the monastery. Really beautiful. It has a mixture of Greece and Roman architecture and as you can see, the sun was shining...
