I started off my morning with the Maryland State Police getting fingerprinted, and listening to decrepit old men talk to me in their best espanyol...trying to show off. After I washed my hands a good 4 times, still not getting all of the ink off, I was told that it would be 10 days before I would get the results back showing that I am not a bank robber, and not a jay walker...although, if you've ever walked anywhere with me you know I'm just not a convicted jaywalker :)This 10 days until I find out my fate would be fine if I didn't have to get a visa from the Spanish consulate and go to Barcelona is 50 days. Why did I get started late in the visa process you might be asking...well it's called relying on someone else to do your dirty work. Note to self, and to you all...don't EVER do that. So...here I am being told by my co-workers to walk to Portugal to get my visa. Any better ideas, because I don't have a record and don't ever want to get one...¡Gracias!
